Shades Brewing didn’t start with a taproom or a marketing plan. It started in a garage, with a few tanks, some stubborn optimism, and a belief that craft should mean something. Now, in our first brewpub in Salt Lake City, we’ve built a space for people who work hard, care about what they drink, and know that good things take time. If that’s you, pull up a chair. With craft beer brewed on site, scratch-made pizza, burgers, weekend brunch, and cocktails that actually impress, we’ve built something that’s anything but ordinary.

Right on the new 300W bike path, our dog-friendly patio is perfect for a sunny brunch, a cold beer after your ride, or a laid-back night with friends. We’re 21+ — a space to enjoy great beer, great food, and great company.

What's the Opening Date? It’s a race against the weather, particularly for completing the loading dock, parking lot, and service area, but we’re working hard to open as soon as possible!
